A primeira sala parto humanizado respeitoso, com banheira, da Maternidade Cândido Mariano foi inaugurada na última quarta-feira, 7 de outubro. O projeto, encabeçado pela sociedade civil organizada e liderado pela médica Rúbia Borges e pela doula Tatiana Marinho, contou também com o auxílio de vários profissionais da equipe do hospital para a finalização.
O método, que funciona como um alívio para a dor durante o parto, por meio do banho morno que ajuda no relaxamento muscular, segue o modelo de hospital materno mais trabalhado fora do país. O objetivo principal é incentivar o parto natural, proporcionando à gestante todo o suporte e acolhimento necessários.
Segundo a enfermeira da Maternidade Cândido Mariano, Patrícia Nunes, o uso da água apresenta vantagens significativas. “Esse efeito anestésico ajuda a atenuar as contrações. Causa a sensação de leveza, o que aumenta a mobilidade da mulher. Além disso, reduz a sensação de cansaço e apresenta uma recuperação mais rápida por ser parto normal”, reforça.
Ainda de acordo com a enfermeira, o parto na água é uma das práticas promovidas pela Maternidade Cândido Mariano para diminuir o uso de intervenções. “O contato pele a pele entre a mãe e o bebê, os exercícios como agachamento e o uso de métodos não farmacológicos de alívio da dor também são oferecidos à gestante no hospital”, explica Patrícia.
