A Maternidade Cândido Mariano programou uma semana especial para o Outubro Rosa, que é o mês de combate ao câncer de mama e, mais recente, de colo de útero. Neste ano de 2019, será realizado um Ciclo de Palestras sobre o tema, com início às 15 horas de segunda-feira, dia 21 de outubro, e término na quinta-feira, dia 24 de outubro, no auditório Seu José Husseim Mohamad Moussa, da maternidade.
Na segunda-feira, 21 de outubro, a primeira palestra será ministrada pela enfermeira Esthefani Uchôa com o tema “Prevenção do Câncer de Mama com o Hospital do Amor Campo Grande – MS”, às 15 horas. Já na terça-feira, 22 de de outubro, também às 15 horas, serão debatidos os “Aspectos Psicológicos do Câncer de Mama” com a psicóloga Fernanda Gimenez, com a participação da Rede Feminina de Combate ao Câncer.
Ainda na terça-feira, às 15 horas, a psico-oncologista Claudia Pinho ministra a palestra “Hipnose em Oncologia”. Já na quarta-feira, 23 de outubro, às 15 horas, a odontóloga voluntária do Instituto Oncoguia, Fátima Corvalan, conversa sobre “Você Não Está Sozinho Para Cuidar de Alguém com Câncer ou se Cuidar”. Por último, na quinta-feira, dia 24 de outubro, às 15 horas, a mastologista Thayana Camargo fala sobre o “Câncer de Mama e o Autocuidado”.
O evento, com entrada gratuita, é organizado pelo Núcleo de Psicologia da Maternidade Cândido Mariano. É solicitada a doação de produtos de higiene pessoal feminina para as mães da Casa da Mãe da Gestante. Também pedimos para que os participantes utilizem peças de roupas cor de rosa durante as palestras.
É importante lembrar que o Outubro Rosa é um movimento mundial de mobilização de prevenção das patologias. Em nível nacional, a comemoração começa todo ano após a iluminação rosa ser ligada no Cristo Redentor, no Rio de Janeiro. O evento é promovido pela Federação Brasileira de Instituições Filantrópicas de Apoio à Saúde da Mama (Femama). Na Maternidade Cândido Mariano, a palestra será aberta ao público em geral.
